If we share our opinion on the future of education and work together for a sustainable future, we can achieve our goal in larger steps. If we put all this into practice, we can reach a wider audience. On the COP28, John von Neumann University will show in a series of presentation the future of practice-oriented green education&research, and also presents an exhibition in the Green Zone Technology and Innovation hub. Those interested can get to know one of the possible means of transportation of the future, the university developed hydrogen-powered vehicle.
The aim is to present the feasibility of hydrogen technology and encourage its widespread use. As a result of the development, John von Neumann University became a recognized and prominent development knowledge base for hydrogen-based hybrid powertrains in Hungary.
The implementation was carried out by university researchers and a group of the most talented students, helping the research-practical experience with a young, ambitious approach. During the project, an L5E-category prototype vehicle is developed. There are more than 8 million vehicles suitable for the transport of small goods in Eastern countries with internal combustion engines. The goal is to combine the proven vehicle structure with the most modern drive technology of our time, all of which is complemented by a forward-looking design. The hydrogen-powered prototype contains detailed solutions that can be used in other vehicle development, thus contributing to the spread of green mobility and technology transfer. Our work in environmentally conscious education of the future generation matches the ambition of COP28 UAE.
